4 Farms totaling 1,061± acres to be auctioned February 11th in 15 tracts. The farms have been in the same family for multiple generations and are known as Wagner Farms. Currently the owners all live out of state and are completing family financial planning.

Located north and northeast of Cherryvale. The farms have 782± acres of cropland and excellent hunting and recreational tracts with 3 ponds and multiple live water creeks.

Farms 1 & 2 have 529± total acres along Highway 400. Farm 2 is known as Bender Farm from 1870's history lore. State historical marker is located at the intersection of Hwy. 400 and Hwy. 160 rest area describing the Bender mystery.

Farm 3 is adjoining the Parsons Tri City Airport and offers excellent hunting, while Farm 4 is the most southern parcel and is a good mix of tillable and hunting land.

The auction offers tracts from 6± acres to 162± acres and may be purchased separately or in combination of tracts. The auction is to be held at Cardinal Event Center in Parsons at 6:00 PM. Farm inspections are scheduled beginning January 23rd. The national marketing program and auction is being conducted by Schrader Real Estate and Auction Inc.

Auction Manager Brent Wellings said, “This property offers tracts for all types of buyers including farmers, investors, recreational and hunting enthusiasts and tax exchange investors.” Several active gas wells are on the tracts.
