Francesville, Indiana
Brad Neihouser is a Real Estate Broker, Auctioneer, and Sale Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, bringing more than three decades of farmland and commercial real estate experience to landowners across Indiana. Brad grew up on a grain-and-livestock farm in Francesville, Indiana, and was so certain he would farm for a living that he skipped learning to type in high school - he figured he would never need it. After graduating from West Central High School, he went straight to farming and grain farmed for more than thirty-five years, from 1978 until 2014. That first career gives him a farmer's perspective on every sale: he has lived the same decisions about land, crops, and family operations that his clients are facing. Brad joined Schrader in 2026. He earned his real estate broker license and entered the industry in 1994, and added his auctioneer license in 1998. Since 2000 he has owned and operated Neihouser Realty and Auction, and he has completed the full coursework required to become a licensed appraiser - training that sharpens his eye for what a property is truly worth and helps him give sellers realistic, well-grounded expectations.
Alongside his own firm, Brad's career includes more than a decade with Shook Commercial Realty, beginning in 2015, where he won the firm's top broker awards. Combined with more than twenty-five years running his own real estate and auction business, that experience gives him an uncommon range - he is just as comfortable walking a field with a farm family as he is working through a commercial transaction. He is also a past board member of Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors. "I farmed for more than thirty-five years before I ever sold a farm for anyone else, so I know what a piece of ground means to the family that owns it," Brad says. "My approach has always been simple: treat everyone right, and the Good Lord will take care of the rest. When you work with me, I will always have your back - and I will always call you back."
Brad lives in Francesville, Indiana, with his wife, Barbara, who he will gladly tell you is the very best. Together they have four children and nine grandchildren, with a tenth on the way - all of them, in Brad's words, incredible fun. Brad and Barbara are members of the Apostolic Christian Church at Francesville and West Lafayette, Indiana. An avid pilot, Brad volunteers with Angel Flights, using his own airplane to fly patients to long-distance medical appointments at no cost to them.
