About

Gary Bailey is a Real Estate Broker Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in residential, recreational, and farmland auctions and listings across Northeast Indiana. Gary was born in Columbia City, Indiana, and grew up on a family farm in the country near his grandparents who farmed. That upbringing gave him an early understanding of farmland and the families who depend on it.

Gary joined Schrader in 1990. He earned his Real Estate license in 1991 and his Auctioneer license in 1992. He holds an associate degree in Industrial Management from Ivy Tech. Before joining Schrader, he spent three years in the farm equipment business, and he has performed real estate appraisals of all kinds throughout his career - work he continues today.

Background

In more than 35 years with Schrader, Gary has sold tens of thousand acres of farmland. His appraisal background gives landowners a clear, well-supported view of what their property is worth before it goes to market.

"My approach has always been simple: tell people the truth," Gary says. "Landowners deserve a straight answer about their property and the process, and that's what I give them."

Additional Information

Gary lives on the lake in Warsaw, Indiana, where he loves boating and water recreation. He has three daughters, all Purdue graduates, and eight grandchildren that he loves watching do their thing. A big sports fan, Gary holds Purdue season tickets.
