Jace Green is a Real Estate Broker and Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in farm equipment auctions and farmland transactions in Illinois. Jace Green grew up in Arthur, Illinois, in the heart of one of Central Illinois' strongest agricultural communities. His family has farmed corn and soybeans in Douglas County and the surrounding area for generations, giving him an early understanding of the land, the people who farm it, and the importance of farmland to the communities throughout Central Illinois.
Jace joined Schrader in 2025 and serves as an Agent for the company, earning his license in 2026. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business with a minor in Communications from Western Illinois University, where he also served as Student Body President. He grew up working on Heritage Family Farms and completed internships with Advanced Agrilytics and WYXY Classic 99.1 FM.
Jace's roots in Arthur and Douglas County shape the way he approaches farm real estate and land auctions. His firsthand familiarity with the realities of farming and farmland ownership, paired with his communications training and leadership experience, helps him connect with landowners and explain the process clearly.
"Teddy Roosevelt said, 'Keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground,' and I think about that every day," Jace says. "Agriculture, and the land we work, keeps the world grounded. Seeing that bigger picture and helping carefully transfer those assets into the right hands is what keeps it moving forward."
Jace lives in Arthur, Illinois, in Douglas County. He plays drums in his church's praise band and is involved with the Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond FFA Alumni Association. For Jace, farming isn't just his profession - it's his hobby and passion.
