Jim Hayworth a Real Estate Broker and Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in farmland and recreational auctions and listings across Western Indiana. Jim Hayworth grew up in Morocco, Indiana, in a third-generation farming family that raised grain crops and cattle. He attended Vincennes University before transferring to Purdue University, where he graduated in 1968 with a degree in Animal Science. He later returned to Purdue to earn his teaching license.
Jim joined Schrader in 1978 and serves as a Sale Manager for the company. He earned his Real Estate and Auctioneer licenses in 1982. Before joining Schrader, he taught for two and a half years at Adams Central and spent time selling Harvestore silos.
With nearly five decades at Schrader, Jim is one of the company's most experienced sale managers. His career includes a notable 1989 auction in Arizona and countless farm sales across Indiana. His teaching background still shows in the way he explains the process to sellers and buyers.
"I analyze the customer's needs and try to perform to the best of my ability to provide for all of them," Jim says. "That's been my approach for almost fifty years."
One of Jim's more recent transactions includes a $7,040,000 result on 613 +/- acres in Jasper County, IN, and also sold a 181 +/- acre operation in Fulton County, IN for $3,476,000.
Jim lives in Monticello, Indiana, with his wife, Carol Sue. They have two children. Jim attends Shiloh Church, and as he puts it, what he enjoys most is working.
