Jon Shaw is a Real Estate Broker and Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in recreational and farmland listings, as well as equipment and land auctions across Michigan. Jon grew up in Spring Arbor, Michigan, in a rural area where he was always around agriculture and worked for several local farmers. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness and a Master of Business Administration from Huntington University.

Jon joined Schrader in 2024 directly after completing his education and serves as a Michigan agent for the company, earning his license that same year. His agribusiness and MBA training give him a solid foundation in both the agricultural and financial sides of land sales.

Background

Since joining Schrader, Jon has handled sales all across the state of Michigan, working with landowners and buyers throughout the state as part of Schrader's Michigan team.

"Our president always says that we're in the people business, and I believe that's what makes this work so rewarding," Jon says. "I enjoy building relationships with our clients and doing whatever I can to serve their needs and make the process as successful as possible."

Some of Jon's work early on his career includes selling 190 +/- acres in St Joseph County, Michigan and an impressive sale of 147 +/- acres in Lenawee County, Michigan.

Jon lives in Marshall, Michigan, with his wife, Maddie. He serves on the leadership team at his church and is a member of the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, farming, and spending time with family.
