About

Kyle Tranel is a Real Estate Broker and Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in farmland, recreational, and farm equipment auctions and listings across Wisconsin. Kyle grew up on his family's dairy farm near Cuba City, Wisconsin. After college, he returned home to work as a herdsman on the family operation, and he still helps on the farm whenever he can.

Kyle joined Schrader in 2025 and serves as a land and dairy specialist for the company. He entered the industry in 2023 and became a licensed Real Estate Broker in 2024. He studied Farm Operations Management - Dairy at Southwest Technical College and Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and he holds an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate. Before joining Schrader, he worked as a Risk Management Advisor, helping farmers manage price risk, and later as a Real Estate Sales and Marketing Coordinator for a national real estate brokerage firm.

Background

Kyle's combination of dairy experience, commodity risk management, and real estate marketing gives him an uncommon perspective on the value of agricultural property. At Schrader, he served as a dairy consultant on a 747.50+/- acre dairy and irrigated land auction, bringing his operational knowledge of the dairy industry to the offering.

"I grew up on my family's dairy farm near Cuba City, so I understand the pride, responsibility, and emotion that come with owning land," Kyle says. "My goal is to help people navigate important decisions and serve them with the same honesty, integrity, and care I'd want for my own family. I love agriculture and the people who make up the ag industry, and building lasting relationships with clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my work."

Additional Information

Kyle lives in Chilton, Wisconsin, in Calumet County, with his wife, Hallie, a large-animal veterinarian. Together they are building a small hobby farm where they hope to have horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, and beef cattle. Kyle and Hallie are parishioners and active members of Good Shepherd Parish in Chilton, and Kyle is a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Calumet County Farm Bureau Board Member. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, golfing, and working out.
