About
Nick Cummings is an Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in farmland and farm equipment auctions and listings across Ohio. Nick grew up in Washington Court House, Ohio. Although he didn't grow up on a farming operation, he built one of his own - today he operates a first-generation, 4,000-acre crop farm raising corn, soybeans, and wheat alongside his oldest son. That experience gives him a farmer's perspective on every property and piece of equipment he sells.
Nick first joined Schrader in 1999, shortly after graduating high school. He graduated from Missouri Auction School and became a licensed auctioneer in 1995, then attended Hondros Career College and entered real estate in 1998. He also holds the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation from the National Auctioneers Association.
Background
Over more than 25 years with Schrader, Nick has conducted some of the company's most notable sales, including the Anderson Circle auction in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, named Auction of the Year by USA Today in 2011, as well as the Blanton Brothers farm equipment auction in Washington Court House in 2014 and the Schaffer farm equipment auction in 2008. His work as a farmer has been recognized too: in 2018 he was named a National Outstanding Young Farmer by Outstanding Farmers of America.

Nick lives in Washington Court House, Ohio, with his wife, Sunny, and their children, Tyler, Hannah, and Hayden. He serves on the board of directors of Merchants National Bank, is Chairman of the Farm Service Agency committee in Fayette County, Ohio, and attends Grace Methodist Church in Washington Court House. He is also a member of Pro Farmer, Top Producer, and the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association.
