About
Steve Coil is a Real Estate Broker and Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in land transactions and farm equipment auctions across Indiana. Steve Coil grew up in the country near Millersburg, Indiana. Although his family didn't farm, he worked for local farmers throughout high school, gaining hands-on experience and a respect for the people who work the land.
Steve joined Schrader in 2023. He became a licensed Real Estate Broker in 2021 and earned his Auctioneer license in 2023 from Reppert School of Auctioneering. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Goshen College and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Before joining Schrader, Steve spent 31 years as a commercial banker, where he often helped broker transactions for his banking clients.

Steve's three decades in commercial banking give him an in-depth understanding of financing, valuation, and the business decisions behind a real estate sale. That experience allows him to help sellers and buyers understand the financial side of a transaction and navigate it with confidence.

Steve's notable sales include an 85 +/- acre auction in Allen County, IN for $1,492,000, as well as a 91 +/- acre sale in Noble County for $1,220,000.

Steve lives in Avilla, Indiana, with his wife, Tonne. They have two daughters and sons-
in-law and four grandsons. Steve attends Pathway Community Church. Outside of work,
he enjoys spending time with family, hobby farming, and hunting.
