Ted Boyer grew up in Union, Michigan, in a family of farmers who also ran a John Deere dealership. Before joining Schrader, he farmed a couple thousand acres and hauled grain, giving him firsthand knowledge of both farming operations and the equipment that drives them.
Ted joined Schrader in 1993 and serves as a Sale Manager for the company, earning his Auctioneer license that same year.
In more than 30 years with Schrader, Ted has managed a wide range of farm equipment sales and held one of the first Schrader million-dollar equipment auctions. He knows that every sale is different and builds a strategy to fit each one.
"We do as much as we can for the seller and come up with the best strategy for each sale, because they're all different," Ted says. "We're hands-on, and we attack every sale like it's our own."
Ted lives in Edwardsburg, Michigan, with his wife of 34 years, Lisa. They have one child and one grandchild. Outside of work, Ted builds hot rods in his shop - something he's done since he was a kid.
