About

Todd Freeman is a Real Estate Broker and Auction Manager with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, specializing in farmland and recreational auctions and listings across Central and Western Indiana. Todd comes from a Central Indiana farm family whose operations span five Indiana counties, along with a cattle operation in Florida. Although he chose a different career path early on, growing up around a family deeply rooted in agriculture gave him a clear understanding of what farmland means to the people who own it.

Todd joined Schrader in 2008. He earned his Auctioneer license in 2003, entered the real estate and auction industry in 2006, and became a licensed Broker in 2011. He studied Industrial Technology at Ivy Tech and completed coursework in anhydrous ammonia process safety and handling (OSHA 29 CFR 1910) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before joining Schrader, he worked for Eli Lilly, where a disciplined, process-driven environment shaped the organized, detail-oriented approach he brings to every sale.

Background

Todd has sold thousands of acres through both private treaty and auction across west central and central Indiana, including a 1,200-acre auction in 2008. He has also appraised land throughout Indiana and has testified in Indiana Tax Court on behalf of clients - experience that gives landowners a well-grounded perspective on value. He is a member of the Rural Appraisers and Farm Managers Society and has served as both District 3 Chair and Vice Chair of the Indiana Auctioneers Association.

Additional Information

Todd lives in Rossville, Indiana, in Clinton County, with his wife, Amy, and their daughters, Dawson and Demi. He has served as a Trustee for Grace United Methodist Church in Lafayette and coached high school volleyball at Rossville. Outside of work, he has held a lifetime Indiana hunting license since 1994 and enjoys hunting, Purdue sports, and pro football.
