Jason grew up on a family farm in Marshall County, Indiana, just outside Plymouth. That agricultural background led him to Purdue University, where he earned a degree in Agribusiness before he entered the real estate and farm appraisal profession in 2025.
Jason joined Schrader in 2025 as a Trainee Appraiser and Real Estate Broker, bringing a refreshingly well-rounded background to the farm and land appraisal business. Between growing up on the family farm, helping run the family trucking company, and getting his hands dirty flipping houses and managing rental properties, he has picked up a practical, boots-on-the-ground understanding of agricultural real estate and rural land values, along with what it really takes to appraise, auction, and sell both farmland and farm equipment.

He is building his career at Schrader, working alongside seasoned brokers and experienced appraisers, learning the ins and outs of agricultural land valuation, equipment valuation, farmland sales, land auctions, and equipment auctions while serving landowners across the region who are looking to appraise or auction their land and machinery alike.
Early in his career, Jason has already begun coordinating a 9 tract transaction of nearly 250 acres in Marshall County, Indiana.

When he is not out appraising farms or helping landowners sell their land, Jason is home in Rushville, Indiana, in Rush County, with his wife, Jill. Family and the farm remain a big part of his life outside of work, and he spends much of his free time helping out on the farm and with his family.
